Glossary of Terms

It has been noted that the Enable project has used a number of abbreviations and acronyms and that a list of them might be useful:

• CDD - Curriculum Design and Development
• CRM - Customer Relationship Management
• DVC - Deputy Vice Chancellor
• EA - Enterprise Architecture http://www.opengroup.org/subjectareas/enterprise
• FEI - Further Education Institution
• FLAG - Flexible Learning Advice and Guidance
• HEI - Higher Education Institution
• LDI - Learning Development and Innovation, the department that the Enable project team work from
• OER - Open Educational Resources
• P3M3 - Portfolio, Programme, Project Management Maturity Model http://www.p3m3-officialsite.com/
• PVC - Executive Pro Vice Chancellor
• SMWG - Senior Management Working Group, this is a group of senior managers from services and some faculties, chaired by a member of executive. The SMWG was scheduled to meet every three months to oversee the Enable project and handle any requirements for prioritising issues raised or with initiatives in trouble.
